The K-beauty craze is here to stay, thanks to our favourite South Korean idols who’ve popularised it with their glass-like, porcelain skin. K-pop supergroup BTS is often envied for their gorgeous skin, despite being embroiled in hectic schedules and travelling around the clock. Of all the BTS members, Jimin surely grabs everyone’s attention with his radiating skin, making us all curious about his skincare holy grails. Thankfully, Jimin spilt his skincare secrets for his legions of fans, which are quite simple and on the go.   BHUTAN GOLDEN WONDER: THE 51-METRE-TALL STATUE OF BUDDHA DORDENMA, WHICH SITS IN THE MOUNTAINS NEAR BHUTAN’S CAPITAL, THIMPHU  Getty Images It hits you as soon as you step off the aeroplane, with a gentle headiness. Another deep breath in and you realise: this is surely the cleanest air on earth. Bhutan, the country of mountains, devout Buddhism and endless smiles, isn’t just carbon neutral. With 73 per cent of its rugged land covered in pristine forests and vegetation, it’s carbon negative. Despite being landlocked by the two superpowers of China and India, modernisation, including the introduction of the car, only began here in the 1960s, under the reign of the third king of Bhutan. Famously, his American army Jeep, in which he visited every region of the country, was met with such bewilderment that the locals considered it a beast and lifted the bonnetFrazzled by our frenetic London existence, my husband, Will, and I were searching for an alternative to the usual ‘quick f...

His father,   Jigme Namgyal , was the   Druk Desi   of Bhutan at the time and He was apprenticed at the court of his father in the art of leadership and warfare at a very young age.   Padmasambhāva   ("Born from a Lotus"), [note 1]   also known as   Guru Rinpoche   (Precious Guru) and the   Lotus from Oḍḍiyāna , was a tantric Buddhist   Vajra master   from   India   who taught   Vajrayana   in   Tibet   (circa 8th – 9th centuries). [1] [2] [3] [4]   According to some early Tibetan sources like the   Testament of Ba , he came to Tibet in the 8th century and helped construct   Samye Monastery , the first Buddhist monastery in Tibet. [3]   However, little is known about the actual historical figure other than his ties to Vajrayana and Indian Buddhism.   Ngawang Namgyal  (later granted the honorific  Zhabdrung Rinpoche , approximately "at whose feet one submits") ( Tibetan :  ཞབས་དྲུང་ངག་དབང་རྣམ་རྒྱལ་ ,  Wylie :  zhabs drung ngag dbang rnam rgyal ; alternate spellings include  Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel ; 1594–1651) and known colloquially as The Bearded Lama, was a  Tibetan Buddhist   lama  and the unifier of  Bhutan  as a nation-state. In addition to unifying the various warring fiefdoms for the first time in the 1630s, he also sought to create a distinct  Bhutanese cultural identity  separate from the  Tibetan culture  from which it was derived  However, following a misunderstanding Zhabdrung Rinpoche and his party had with an important Karma Kagyu   lama , Pawo Tsugla Gyatsho (1568–1630), the Tsang Desi demanded that compensation be paid, and that the sacred religious relics of Ralung—such as the Rangjung Kharsapani—should be surrendered to him...
